Gum disease, decay, cracked teeth, dead teeth, oral soft and hard tissue cancers, temporomandibular joint disease (i.e. the joints next to your ears), malocclusion are checked when you come for a check-up with us. The purpose of the clean is to get rid of the tartar, which is blocks of germs that cling onto your teeth so tight that you can’t brush it off. While the tartar is there, the germs produce toxins to destroy your gum and maybe your jaw bone too. Bendigo 448 Dental has the modern EMS scaler. This air flow system is much more comfortable for our patients.
Sport mouthguard: our custom-made mouthguards are so much more comfortable to wear compared to the over-the counter mouthguards. They are essential for protecting your teeth during sports.
Teeth whitening: you have the options of home bleaching or in-surgery Zoom bleaching.
Fillings: you have the choice of direct composite fillings or indirect fillings milled through Cerec machine.
Extractions (including wisdom teeth): Bendigo 448 dental is excellent at extractions extractions and can tackle one of the most difficult ones.
Occlusal splints: these are night guards for patients who grit and grind at sleep time. They protect further trauma to the rest of the teeth and the TMJ (temporomandibular joints – next to the ears).
